Terms of Service

1. Beta software
TELVRIX is pre-release, closed-beta software. It is provided for evaluation and feedback purposes. Features are incomplete, may change, and may be removed. You are using this software at your own risk.
No billing or payment is required during the closed beta. If and when paid plans are introduced, you will be given advance notice.
2. No warranty
TELVRIX IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE OPERATOR MAKES NO WARRANTIES REGARDING AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
We do not guarantee that TELVRIX will be available at any given time, that data will not be lost, or that any specific feature will work as described. We may take the service offline without notice.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use TELVRIX to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email (spam)
- Violate the policies of your email provider
- Store or transmit regulated health data (PHI) or payment card data (PCI)
- Attempt to access data belonging to other users
- Probe or exploit the service for vulnerabilities without written authorization
4. Data and privacy
TELVRIX syncs email messages from your IMAP server and stores them in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database. Your IMAP and SMTP credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM; the encryption key is never stored in the database.
TELVRIX does not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising. See the Privacy page for a complete description of what data is stored and how it is used.
5. Account termination
The operator may terminate or suspend any account at any time, with or without cause. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Account deletion removes your messages, mailboxes, and profile from the database.
6. Changes to terms
These terms may be updated at any time during the beta period. Continued use of TELVRIX after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF TELVRIX, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF EMAILS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.
